some of the personal skill imbalance kn fortune's weave is funny because even among the flame lords you've got cai getting one extra movement and then at the same time theodora gets pavise and aegis rolled up into one skill with a higher activation rate than both

ohhhh this awakening mod is doing cool shit with the chapters. chapter 3 spawned an overlevelled pavise/aegis knight a few turns in so you cant farm the auto healing boss, and chapter 4 replaced all the non lucina enemies with other child units using generic hair colours....

But the majority of bosses are big stat sticks with Pavise that make your strats to kill them super inconsistent. Which maybe could have been interesting, but it really isn’t in a world where I can reset your my save one turn ago. It feels even more trivializing than time rewinds in modern FE.

Well well well, kitbashing Highland Miniatures (at 28 mm) and Empire Militia seems to be quite functional.
Perhaps I'll dismember the spare command groups that the Frenchmen sent me, despite indtructions otherwise.
Pavise crossbowmen, like horse archers, were a bit gamebreaking IRL.
