Für die Hersteller ist das lukrativ, das bezweifle ich auch nicht. Frag mich halt nur wie die Teams das bezahlen, ob das alles über Paydriver und Werbung reinkommt würde ich bezweifeln.

I get that Colapinto hasn't been kicked out from Alpine because he's a merch paydriver in a similar way to Checo was, but god is it frustrating to think that he got a seat before Paul Aron (got reserve ig).
But at the same time, trusting your career to Alpine isn't a great idea so... bullet dodged?

The only F1 driver I have ever met was Patrick Friesacher who was a Minardi paydriver . We ambushed him in the pitlane during the open pit day at Montreal 2005
Remembering some guys: early aughts F1 driver Zsolt Baumgartner, a fan favourite for little other reason than "is named Zsolt." Scored a single championship point for Minardi, over which everyone lost their shit.

More or less explains why I was a (to some extent) Lance Stroll defender in 2019 but am not one now, he showed enough talent to be given a chance/he’s good by paydriver standards but now he’s the only pay driver and he’s not really achieved much (despite having some quite good cars)

Pô, eu acho que a prema não tem tanta culpa nisso,e óbvio que vai ter um monte de paydriver querendo correr na prema e ela pode escolher,mas o fato de não terem escolhido o Rafa primeiro tem muito mais haver com um embrolho entre o Rafa e a Ferrari que os rumores sugerem.

Hulkenberg is now a top10 driver in the standings, ahead of Stroll. Come on paydriver, get moving! Admittedly, Stroll honestly looked a bit ill after .. FP2 i think? Not as much after the race, but still a bit off.
