I love PCBOARD! It was the hacker's BBS of choice in the 90's. I still run it under ArcaOS. And the dev of icyTerm & icyDraw is building a pcboard engine in Rust. Started as a way to de-compile PPE's, but heading toward a full-blown pcboard build. github.com/mkrueger/icy...

My father was a BBS Sysop in the 80's of a 2-node PCBoard BBS for a database programmer user group in Atlanta. I was raised as a kid on local BBS's, and even made friends that I still have today from those early days online.

Playing around with Icy Board, a modern clone of PCBOARD BBS software, written in Rust. Retains that retro feel and looks like it will run many of those old PPE addons!

I wrote BBS software for the C64. Moved to an IBM XT "luggable" with PCBoard and Later went on to run a 20-line system using TBBS. Landed some of the first 14.4k modems.
