Why does my #nixos no longer automatically decrypt the disk using the #tpm key? And worse, even rolling back the Nix flake didn't help, something must have gone terribly wrong with the PCRs.

Not long after her adoption, her symptoms returned (despite no change in her food). She went through so many rounds of fecal tests, PCRs, bloodwork, X-rays, special diets, allergy treatments, and nothing has definitely helped her. Every time we get close, she relapses. Now, she’s taken a real turn.

We use plasmidsaurus a lot for sequencing shorter pieces like plasmids and PCRs and we love them, but I don’t think people have tried WGS with them. Worth trying if they offer the service!

Hey, I know a lot of you use PlusLife PCRs. Do you know a better way to get refills besides “have a friend in europe”?
September 18, 2026 at 8:50 PM
i wish it wasn’t like this now but i have multiple friends who didn’t get that positive test for days, even with symptoms!! it’s so annoying that these tools are just about the best/most accessible ones we have since i know most people can’t do PCRs quickly or cheaply
