🌍 Indonesia holds 34% of the world’s peat reserves, one of the planet’s most critical carbon sinks. When these peatlands are drained and burned for palm oil, centuries of stored carbon are released in a flash. This year’s fires have already emitted an estimated 180 million tons of carbon.

Are you a climate denier? Canada heats twice as fast as the rest of the planet, aside from the Arctic. We have already breached 2.0°C and glacier collapse, sea level rise, thawing peatlands & temperature are irreversible on a human time scale.
