Jazz night at #PeggysSkylight.

Excellent gig by #JasperHøiby tonight at #peggysskylight in #nottingham. The third instalment of his 3 Elements project. Tonight with #XaviTorres on piano and #NaímaAcuña on drums. Naíma was amazing...so much work but never intrusive...a rare listening drummer....Always great to hear Jasper...

Just walking down to my cab after a fabulous night at #PeggysSkylight when I am stopped by a hip young black guy who tells me my outfit is totally ‘on point’
Lovely to hear but I bet it’s just because of the skin-tight leather trousers and the boots…

Looking forward to #LedBib to blow my mind tonight at #Peggysskylight

Tickets still available. You don't have to sit next to me...

3 gigs in 3 nights: tonight is Ferg's Imaginary Big Band at #Peggysskylight A new one for me so I have to check it out. I'm going to the 10pm show and I'm exhausted. Need to find the right pub to drink myself awake.

It was the name that drew me in....How could I not go to a gig by someone called Gregory Groover Jr? Never heard of him before but turned out to be a great gig. With Dabin Ryu (piano) Max Ridley (bass) Marc Michel (drums). A new find!

Benet McLean Quintet tonight at #Peggysskylight. I've known his name for a while but never heard him live. He has a great band with him (if those advertised make the gig).
