Part of the pocketbook series on the bridges of Nuremberg and the surrounding area. Our next mystery bridge takes us to the Pegnitzauen, a wide, green valley along the River Pegnitz that is prone to floods in the springtime, but an excellent place for a picnic, biking or (as there is a ramp available) canoeing. Several playground facilities can be found along the green area that stretches for two kilometers from the crossing at Brückenstrasse to the Fuchsloch Viaducts and includes two crossings.
