I just checked Weather.Com for Peidmont Park. The rain should clear up by Noon in time for this 1PM event. So start out soon enough to be on time, even if it is still raining where you are then. CU there, ;-) .

Update: got Wildflowers & Plant Communities of the Southern Appalachian Mountains & Peidmont and it looks awesome so far. The only downside is that it is pretty heavy. Also ordered Wildflowers of the Atlantic Southeast. And found that you can download Flora of the SE US for free from NCBG!
