I’m unemployed and recovering from not one but TWO injuries

Which means obviously I’m thinking about going back into academia because this capitalistic hellscape is ✨killing me✨

Understanding the Analects of Confucius, by Peimin Li

This is my 3rd time approaching the Analects as a layman. Great analysis (with historical sourcing of different philosophers over the past 2000 years). Strongly recommended to those trying to be more human-hearted when it's difficult to be so.

Every time Amazon tries to force its way into my book buying I add another book to my local bookstore's cart. When I hit 10, I purchase.

They really like when I come in and get my bag(s) of books.
