I have been reading Hart's The Concept of Law for over forty years, each time I have discovered some new and profound insight in his deceptively pellucid prose, and my arguments are largely prompted by an engagement over these years with his legal theory.

I also learned pellucid. The lucid part was fine but pell… pell is no old friend of mine. I would like to know if for easy to understand pellucid is seen as even more lucid than lucid if anyone knows.

i have pellucid marginal degeneration which is a form of keratoconus, which means i essentially have ultra mega astigmatism that can't be corrected with glasses. these contacts are my freedom to be able to see and drive in the dark and it's taken way too long to get to this point

Really interesting. Don't think the disability stats should be read as if they are pellucid (no stats are), but it's really striking that subjects government is pushing students into tend to have poor stats and those they are taking funding from (in England) via SPG typically have very good stats.

Look at how sexy quartz glass is, oh my god. Its perfect transparency and its cloudiness. The shapes it can be molded into. Look at the big circle, the cubes, the disks! Its pellucid quality is what really gets me, so crystal clear... And so smooth and hard... It's the perfect crystal. I adore it.
