Would Pengsu be considered aromatic? He seems like the kind of guy who finds romance frivolous and unnecessary.

Lee always struck me as less a bad brother and more just a guy that likes war and fighting and easily swayed unto hating a group if someone he trusts told him they were bad and then he saw even 1 person from that group being actually bad lol.
...Pengsu is the problem 😑

trying to think of my OCs' favorite colors
I think Shu and Keng would both like dark, cool tones
Thumeng I would say could be either blue or red, leaning toward red
Mai is all about purple even with it being her family's color
Pengsu is definitely red. Lee is gold. Yu is silver. Song is red

I can't go into too much detail about a world without Thumeng, but he's the center of the main story. Keng can't connect with the Azure dragon like Thumeng - he's never been worthy. and Thumeng is the only person who can actually match Pengsu in strength, even with Shu and Keng combining abilities

so Keng would either die at the hands of Pengsu, who's strong enough to resist his magic, or escape with Thumeng like canon. but regardless, Thumeng will still go on his journey. he will just struggle a lot being in his head about the pressures of masculinity and the world on his shoulders

out of the Blossom bros actually I think Shu has the strongest beard gene
1. Shu (hates beards)
2. Pengsu (likes his chin style)
3. Yu (tidiness = professional)
4. Lee (can't grow beard hair at all)

thing about Pengsu though is that while he doesn't like doing artsy stuff, he's actually VERY good at art. music, drawing, writing, he's mastered it all

the book covering the history of the Blossom family's master dragons (aka Yengkong's parents, Shu's grandparents) that Sheng lends to Thumeng was actually hand-written by Pengsu. his daughter asked for a book for her birthday, but their library already had EVERY book, so he wrote that book himself

while Pengsu is the strongest soul ember warrior, Thumeng actually has the strongest soul embers. he just can't control them, so his full power only comes out when his emotions are high. he basically has raw strength but no mastery

Pengsu is pretty good at meditating away pain. he's the strongest soul ember warrior because he knows how to channel energy across his body. you'd only really be able to hurt him if you catch him off guard or throw him off focus

REEDS cis men if you hooked them up to a period cramps machine
Shu: would keel over at the first setting
Keng: can withstand without visibly showing pain, but taps out
Lee: in tears until he passes out
Yu: same as Shu
Pengsu: even at the highest setting, he will stay stone-faced. breaks the machine
