When I first made Penny I was just messing in glamourer with appearances, and I ended up being like “haha what if I make a character that looks like oxidizing copper” because those colours look nice. Hence Penny. Her last name is Lane and that’s just a Beetles joke

Penny is not good at facial/tone control so if she’s experiencing an emotion you will probably know it LMAO. She’s usually moving to some degree or fidgeting most of the time, so if you can read if it’s nervous/sad/happy she is an open book
