You know what? Imma also pull out the music card so there's an idea of what to expect: If you wanna go find something interesting...even if I haven't written a lot (yet lmao) #peppymusicbox #2024music #music2024 #AOTY

Not to mention Robyn's pretty great Sexistential, whatever tsubi club is doing, Namasenda's UNDERRATED AS HELL album, horsegiirL...period, Kim Petras' return to form, and many more hidden gems like Chiara Oliver and probably more coming this year.

I've been unable to detach from these three albums ever since I've heard them.

They might be the big three pop records of what I think is the best year for pop music in the 2020's so far.

The fact that these topple MUNA's best record, hemlocke springs full length, and Olivia Rodrigo's best to date

I just relistened to Stay High by Tove Lo in probably almost a decade (insane that 2018 is that far away fuck) and...did it always sound like that? I don't drink at all, but it sounds like filling a cup with nothing but alcohol and saying "soda" on top, and the alcohol's the drums. Apropos, huh.

I just heard the best cover of the year. Not even ten seconds in and I started bawling my eyes out.
