Rainbow capitalism will not save us. Absolutely driving me bonkers that some LGBTQ orgs are celebrating Lyft giving a $10 discount for “trans joy” in the face of Kansas’ human rights abuses as some sort of magnanimous positive and not just meaningless culture war corporate performativity.

it kinda sucks being an openly black artist because people will not only speak over you or prop up your blackness for their own performativity; but they also hold black individuals to a higher expectation than other non black people and it really goes deep.
