Juvenile Pergrine Falcon. Just one bird fledged this year at my local location. Better than none however. Its been a poor year for pergrines hatching/fledging in the UK with failures at a number of well-established locations.

My first Orange-tip, and in the garden too, nice.
Merlin™️ having a very bad day. Not hearing nearby singing Treecreeper, nor very raucous Herring Gulls, until it decide they were Pergrines! Also got given Sand Martin (which were squabbling Goldfinches) and Yellowhammer (that was a Robin).

Fablehaven by Brandon Mull used to be my favorite book. Nows it's Miss Pergrines Home For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs.

So good to see the hedgehogs, we used to have some at the allotment but they disappeared. Hope the dog owners will keep their dogs on a lead in Richmond Park too, now that they have seen the danger to the fawns. The pergrines and beavers a delight too. All positive.
