No. Christians feel persecuted because there is a vast media apparatus telling them that they are persecuted. There is no evidence whatsoever of large-scale discrimination against Christians in this country.

Refoulement is returning someone to where they’ll be persecuted. Chain refoulement is sending someone to a country which will then return them to where they’ll be persecuted. Both are violations of the Refugee Convention and the Convention Against Torture.

The Washington press corps does not recognize this as Christian persecution because the Christians being persecuted are not considered as authentic, which to say, as legitimate, as Christians who holler and shout about abortion. The Christianity of those actually being persecuted is erased.
