I talk daily with people from the philipines, australia, US and neatherlands and they feel more part of the same culture as me than the people in my building. its crazy

that said- loads of labor exploitation underbelly on their production esp with the philipines and outsourcing production there. but the chapel itself seems fairly sincere. interesting story all around

next time Mirei walks the elderly dog he takes her to the forest and there is Mysteriously Weird Weather and she runs away, only to find a dying soldier under a tree that looks like the ones by grandma's house. this is great-grandma's brother/beloved dying in the Philipines in 1944.

This is a problem. So far, it's not critical, and not as big as some recent Icelandic volcanoes, or Mount Pinatubo in the Philipines. It needs to be watched. Weirdly, if it got big enough, it could temporarily solve global warming...🤔Not that that would be a good way to do it...
