"Superior education" bruh getting C'ed through a BA in philospophy and not passing your GREs isn't exactly brag-worthy.

Ryan Holiday seems to sit at a nexus. He markets the Philospophy of life well. But his bite-sized approach is easy to takeand misunderstand without challenging your preconceived notions.

The Broics and the influencers carve it up until its unrecognisable. And yes they are extremely misogynistic.

The pipeline, insprired by Jupyter's nbgrader, but adapted for Marimo and tweaked pedagogic philospophy:
• mograder generate: strip solutions, embed cell hashes
• mograder autograde: sandboxed execution, integrity check against source
• mograder feedback: HTML export with marks and comments

I do think we need more people to understand what AI is, how it works and what the implications are, so if I were to design an AI major, it would be equal parts maths/comp sci and philospophy/ethics. (I doubt this is what administrators or applicants have in mind though)

Heather Dean’s “Still a River” is a quiet, sharply observed reminder that change does not erase experience—and that sometimes saying one true thing at the right moment matters.

I have trouble with religious wars. I fail to see how the holding of one ludicrously impossible idea would make one superior to someone else who wolds an only slightly different but equally ludicrously impossible idea.

But that's just me.

Of course, I live in a nice bit of it, and my football team is in a not as nice bit of it

I quite like the political philospophy there - they went Labour to Lib Dem to Conservative and back to Labour over the last four elections

Either dos something, or get voted out

Not a bad way to do it

I fucking hate it cause I like a Communal Philospophy Of Christ, a lot in fact where some of the crucial lessons are in fact 'how to get along if youre stuck together in an oppressive place'. But I am not Christian on a matter cosmological supernatural faith itself, and Paul himself being turd.

Though less likely to come up Bluesky, legalism is also a term in Chinese philospophy.

Finally got around to watching "Russell L Ackoff From Mechanistic to Systemic thinking" https://youtu.be/yGN5DBpW93g

A lecture on science, philospophy, psychology and history as human thinking evolved through the industrial ages.

Simply brilliant. A must watch
