Sunset snack and dinner

Phnom Krom is one of three main hills framing Angkor.

The hill is great for both sunset and sunrise views over Tonle Sap.

These small motorbike sales shops are abundant there, selling food, drinks, snacks, picnic mats.

Morning moment of tranquility and fishing

This little pond near Kror Sang Rolerng village is close to Wat Athvear.

Wat Athvear is an active monastery and an old, small temple build in early Bayon style.

No free lunch. But the view and surroundings are worth it.

Along the road to Tonlé Sap Lake from Siem Reap, rice fields, open farmland and wetland gives a splendid outlook.

These spots offer shade, fresh air, Khmer food and drinks - and hammocks.
