Here is your Saturday Cellar Spider (family Pholcidae). They don't just live in cellars or your bathtub; this one was under a rock in the desert. Pic 2 shows a violin-ish marking that may remind you of a recluse spider, which this is not (even if living under a rock is kinda reclusive). #Bugsky 🐙🌿🕷️

se tava pendurada na teia não é aranha marrom. ela só faz teia rasteira.
se ela era bem pernalta, pode ser uma pholcidae, que é essa família das aranhas comuns de dentro de casa. se era menorzinha, mais compacta, pode ser uma salticidae, que é uma fofurinha.
(são só as mais comuns)

I said "house spider" but it looks like most people call them any one of about 3 different names. Family Pholcidae, AKA Cellar Spiders

- Phocidae = earless seals
- Pholidae = gunnels (eel-like fishes related to wolffishes)

That is a cellar spider (Pholcidae family), and they are very harmless. In fact, they are known to eat brown recluses, so they got your back.

Cellar spider, Pholcidae. Handheld 14 single shots. Spiders are rare here, you know that. That’s just two legs too much for me. 😇 But if not now, then when? 🎃 With my new diffuser the handicraft is finally over. Even I, as a studio nerd, can get something done outdoors now.
