The installation instruction of the PicoLoader advice you to solder the Raspberry Pi and diode once the flex is in place in the Cube. While this is a relatively easy solder, you can indeed install a PicoLoader with a pre-soldered Raspberry Pi and diode, already screwed into the 3D-printed bracket 😁

I got my Picoloader installed on my GameCube! I guess Nemo helped but he mostly just laid on the TV while I'll set it up.

for this new build. Bought a replacement power board, fan assembly, and RF shielding/screws. Waited for a cheap solderless Picoloader from Aliexpress and put it all together. This is the result. Basically a rescued/DIY GameCube with no disc drive or lid switch (detects if lid is open or shut).
