PAL console game manuals got legendarily thicc in the PS1 era. This is one for a relatively slender in terms of complexity future sports game, Pitball, and it's a couple of hundred pages thick due to the smaller dimensions and so many languages required to be included.

Unrelated but that’s pretty much the next game I wanted to write on the PlayStation after Pitball when I worked at Time Warner Interactive. Atari Games were part of TWI at that point. Think the decision was made to make Pitball 2 before they closed us down. It looked very much like that in my mind.

I am sat on the source code for my first (and only) PlayStation game: “Pitball”. Also my first attempt at writing a game in C. And the last game I worked on before I left the games industry. It is just a source backup, no assets, so won’t do anything meaningful even if it does compile.

It was in response to a Tumblr post I saw back then (circa mid-2015) showing a screencap of a Pitbull fanpage on Facebook that had his name misspelled as "Pitball", and so my game-filled brain was like "what if...", and a while later there was the result.
