How to Live an Artful Life told me on 18th March 2026 that the time was now. So I believed that and started taking my art more seriously. #artist #howtoliveanartfullife #pithsketchbook #pixelfedartist

The last day of 2025 we spent the morning in the #meanwhilegarden.
'There can be no other occupation like gardening in which, if you were to creep behind someone at their work, you would find them smiling'

Lucy in the sky with diamonds.
Cellophane flowers in yellow and green,
Towering over your head.
Look for the girl with the sun in her eyes, and she's gone.
Lucy in the sky with diamonds. Ah!
#JohnLennon #lucyintheskywithdiamonds #artist #pixelfedartist
Long narrow landscape format sketchbook page. Background dark teal green and purple blending and merging together. A band of outline diamond shapes zig-zags horizontally across the centre section. They are outlined in black and have a soft shadow giving a 3D effect. Between the diamonds the space is filled with small white dots. The remaining bottom section has small yellow flowers made from dots to represent petals, this is repeated in the top section but the flowers are green

I made myself a grey glass palette. I'm finding it hard to get started so I am getting things ready so I will have no excuses.

A rather wishy washy background made me ponder for a while. After my efforts I ended up with a sort of dirty wallpaper effect, it put me in mind of poisonous arsenic
laced Victorian interiors.

A rectangular sheet of yellow paper with a repeating pattern of small, simple green leaves and light orange dots, resembling abstract flowers, on a plain black background.
