Watching a 16th-century woodcut age.

Cut in 1573 by Antoni van Leest (after Pieter van der Borcht) for Plantin, impressions stay crisp for decades. By 1910, a split creeps across the grain, widening by 1960.

I've heard people make claims that AI would lead to a new Renaissance, but I didn't imagine it'd happen like this:
