At a time of fascism, I’m finding some hope reading about the magic and power of adventure playgrounds, remembering that the first “junk” playground, Emdrup in Copenhagen, grew out of Denmark’s resistance to Nazi occupation, and the UK’s oldest were literally built on the rubble of WW2.
