calling it, after the chapters drop and the church dw chapter subtly confirms that the player is the angel, i will have bragging rights forever because ive been a playerangel truther since ch2 came out

imo playerangel feels like it might be sort of like kris knight in that there's some kernel of truth in that line of thinking but it's not actually a role there's just like. a thing called The Angel that is The Angel. maybe gaster stole some of its light for the SOUL

i think for the most part playerangel is just the simplest explanation so most people go with that. obviously noelle has some angel stuff going on too, but we don't know where that's headed. and if there is a proper The Angel we know even less (after a church dark world where you think it'd come up)
