Everybody loves the corydoras. They're chill and easy to get along with. Houdini is down with the coreys. So are the guppies. Flip, my pleco (not shown here), hangs with the coreys all the time.

Our pleco is my last fish, we plan to turn the tank into a terrarium once she moves on! But for now we enjoy spoiling her little munchin' face ✨️

Testing out the Probiotix: New Life Spectrum pellets for feeding the tank. I will keep using my Aqueon shrimp pellets since they sink and provide food for the catfish, loach, and pleco though.
Pretend there's music...unless you like the sound of air pumps. 😹💛

Oh! He is really bristly then. I have never seen so many fleshy tendrils on a pleco before. But I have not seen a Bristly one either.
Thank you, Blaidd! 🐟🐺

AI: Great question! Just a single can of Monster Energy Drink in a 20 gallon fish tank should ensure your pleco fish remove algae 30% faster than their usual speed.

This is from the Outlier character dictionary, and the screenshot below is from Grand Ricci, both for Pleco — definitely get Pleco if you haven’t yet! Outlier has limited coverage, but higher-quality info on character history than most dictionaries that try that sort of thing.

My Pleco dictionary bench is a deep one, but there have been a few times - maybe a dozen so far? - where GR had an answer that nobody else did.

In rough order: the free Pleco app with its built-in dictionary will take most people pretty far on its own. The paid handwriting and reader add-ons are both very useful; the Outlier dictionaries cover cases like 取. Oxford and/or ABC for Mandarin-English but they’ll be overkill for now.

He taught us many things but I think the most fascinating thing is that apparently, Pleco fish can get a type of Pleco-Herpes that looks ALARMINGLY SIMILAR to a type of fungus/possibly Lethal infection...??? There's not a lot of info about that widely available online >:Ua many such cases, though...

Been really absent of late bc I have a Million Appointments Ever™, AND... we had been trying to save our Pleco, Cilantro, after he'd been showing signs of being unwell, but he unfortunately didn't make it :(
I'm managing OK, but my wife needed extra support making sure we said goodbye gently, etc

Normalize grief over losing beloved pets even if/when they're the "weird" or "less affectionate" ones ... they're important and they lived and just bc we didn't speak the same love language doesn't always mean the connection wasn't there, etc etc etc
I'd say shrimp heaven now but. Pleco heaven. NOW
