The big poblanos have been roasted and (mostly) skinned into little pelts, and I cut some more of the smaller poblanos for making poppers. Only a few more days until the big freeze. 🌱

I went out back to harvest poblano peppers. I left another 20 or more peppers on the plant because they were so small, to give them a chance to get a little bigger before a big freeze comes. Home gardening ftw 🌱

Absolutely fucking delicious.
(Definitely needs some lime juice or hot sauce to serve to add a
little acidity.)

Today I checked to see if the poblanos have any peppers on them and discovered that one of my “poblanos” is actually Thai basil! Basil seeds are small, one must’ve spilled into the poblano pot and then I thinned the wrong one :( 🌱
