The 110 metre long Pointy Bridge connecting Pointhouse Quay on the north side of the Clyde to Govan on the south opened in the 6th of September 2024. Since then, it's been crossed around 2.5 million times.

That's an average of over 3,400 crossings per day. All in all, I think this bridge can be considered a major success, and that it's now an important part of the city's transport infrastructure. It also offers great photo opportunities!

It was taken early one September morning shortly after this bridge between Govan and Partick was first opened in 2024. I'd intended to take a person-free shot, but then the guy in the yellow jacket strode out of the mist.
