This week's #TwentiesTuesday garment is this short silk evening dress designed by Paul Poiret in 1924. Inspired by his trips to the Middle East, Poiret inserted rigid, heavily embroidered triangular godets at either side of the skirt. Met Museum collection. #Fashionhistory
