My linen pojagi coat is done! Who knew bits of fabric leftovers could become something special? #pojagi #sewsky

Linen pojagi coat in action! This sewing method uses a flat felled seam to join scraps of fabric together. #sewsky

Now that I have my sewing machine back from the “doctor,” I’m making headway on my linen pojagi jacket.

When I’m between quilt projects, I like to go on creative side quests. Korean patchwork #pojagi is a constructive way to use up little pieces of fabric, in my case linen. It’s fun making wearable art! #sewsky #wearableart

Nice thing about hybrid quilt guild meetings: 7 yo just sat through a talk about Pojagi stained glass quilts. He kept up too, my man knows what a seam is and how it gets into a textile 😂

here’s what i did this week instead of having a job or paying attention to anything: made a pojagi curtain for my kitchen out of recycled clothing and linens

Getting bigger! I like to sew a few blocks together, then rearrange until a flow works and fits within the pattern piece. If all goes well, this will become a coat! #pojagi #linen #wearableart #sewsky

The pearls weren't really white, they were a warm oyster beige, with little knots in between so if they broke, you only lost one. I wished my life could be like that, knotted up so that even if something broke, the whole thing wouldn't come apart.

I made light linen patchwork blinds in pojagi/bojagi style for our living room door. I really underestimated the complexity of calculating the pieces and sewing order but I am happy with it.

Look up the word pojagi to see if you can find any helpful tips. :) I don't seem to have any bookmarked or I'd share them.

deitei para o soft power coreano da cortina pojagi (ou bojagi) e suas releituras. é uma técnica de patchwork sem aveso, que dá o efeito de um vitral para a cortina contra a luz ✨

Now that I'm learning to sew #pojagi, I am noticing them more. I want to alter a dress with some Korean patchwork, and the elegant Kyeon Mi Ri just appeared to me in #kdrama 'Beautiful Gong Shim' wearing an inspiring example. 💕 I'm binging the last episodes. 🙂

I’m categorizing all the mom’s textile artwork. Need to take better photographs. Would love to do a show with her stuff before she really forgets everything. I’ll manifest that for 2025. #pojagi #koreanart

Pojagi is your answer!! Korean piecing with felled seams so the back and front are both finished. Search @EpidaStudio on YouTube for very clear how to. My next pojagi is old linen sheets into summer curtains!

Sådan et pojagi-gardin i smukt afstemte farver (og det kan du) er virkelig klasse 👌

I’m midway through a two-week tolerance break from Instagram and in a dopamine-seeking frenzy I have done bizarre amounts of gardening, created a little hammock area, finished a quilt top, tarted up an old garden chair, and taught myself pojagi patchwork.

It really do be that fuckin phone

Estimating wallpaper rolls for patterns with a large repeat is an inexact science. But this is looking pretty.

I have finished hand-quilting this entire bedspread, but now I have to learn how to bind a quilt. Also make quilt binding. Which entails getting fabric.

Quilting has too many "I'm finished" points that make it easy for me to get stalled. Next project is *definitely* going to be pojagi-style. 😭

Working on my pojagi style curtain, but it’s too narrow and now I have to add another panel of patches to one of the sides arghh!!

Yes, I am dumb for not measuring any of these pieces of fabric before sewing them together but to me that is the most boring part of sewing. We all have our strengths..

Today I made five yards of bias binding from scratch, finished the top of my hand-sewn pojagi linen curtain, and found a hole that needs mending in my flannel sheet.

Tomorrow, making bread.

Also, died 3 times in Sunless Skies.
