last night I installed RebornOS on my laptop using the i3 tiling windows manager, replaced dmenu with rofi, figured out why the brightness and volume keys weren't working and fixed them, replaced i3bar with polybar and skinned polybar with catppuccin. this is the sick shit I don't usually post

If the TVs were actually working, they’d be showing that stupid graph with the price over time for the “PolyBar will be a disaster” market.
i would love to hang out in the failing polymarket bar where all the tvs are broken and all the people i hate are sad. this is in fact my scene. one manhattan please, rocks is good
The Polymarket bar, playing on the “Monitoring the Situation” meme, is a bust.
After waiting outside for nearly an hour and a half in the rain because of technical issues—power and wifi going out—none of the TVs are working.
Staff say everything will be back up and running tomorrow.

So one funny outcome of my window manager really fucking rocking at multitasking, plus also integrating with existing standards and tools like polybar...
... is I find spicy edge cases like: if you've got a LOT of virtual desktops, with long-ish names: polybar doesn't ever truncate those lol

DWM, polybar, Alacritty, fastfetch, neovim, gotop, cava
there is a LOT to do and I think this is enough for day I suppose, hopefully one day I'll push my dotfiles to github once I stop being lazy
