Single-molecule nascent RNA profiling reveals multiple layers of co-transcriptional splicing and their reprogramming by cold in Arabidopsis
In eukaryotes, RNA polymerase II (Pol II) transcription is closely coupled to RNA processing, yet how polymerase progression coordinates multiple processing events within individual nascent transcript...

And it's a ring-shaped peptide, which is why cooking, freezing or drying a death cap doesn't make it safe. Amanitin shuts down RNA polymerase II, so liver cells can't make proteins. The cruel part is the lull after the first gut symptoms, before the liver fails.

Decoupling of Cell Volume From the Number of Ribosomal DNA Repeat Copies Through Regulation of RNA Polymerase I Transcription Elongation in a Large‐Cell Yeast Mutant
Although most studies in the regulation of gene transcription in eukaryotes have focused on protein-coding genes transcribed into mRNA by RNA polymerase II, the regulation of RNA polymerase I (RNA Po...

Yes, and I used alpha amanitin in my PhD research in the early 70s in studies of RNA polymerase II transcription of Herpes Simplex virus. It was also the toxin of choice in my sci-fi novel “DomainShifters” (written under a pseudonym). Hasn’t been a best seller, but hope springs eternal.
