Her childhood trauma was being the "first one's free" pusher from the D.A.R.E commercials? Like girl that's not the trauma you clearly still have unexamined, uncontrolled poly substance abuse disorder.

You're walking around begging the least hooked up polysci nerds in the city for bumps!
genuinely the whole premise of this story is this person who nobody knows going around and asking random leftists if they use drugs culturedmag.com/article/2026...

Correct. Reminds me of that old polysci book “sequential veto bargaining,” a phenomenon that never had and has never happened in American history.

Well, apparently I missed this nugget when getting my degree in social sciences. And my son als seems to have misinterpreted it while getting his PolySci degree and Masters in Education. Because that is NOT what is being taught in high schools and colleges across the land.

He puts such good inflection on the word "slavery."

He doesn't need follow up to specify that it's not a legal or polysci term.

It's a moral term -- a gross, repugnant, evil term -- that is confronting him directly.

So sick of Bowman/Vance/whatever his name is and his whole ‘aw shucks’ schtick. That motherfucker has a polysci degree and a JD from Yale.

Number 17: Far Rockaway, I have a degree in polysci from Adelphi, I am an insurance agent for State Farm. My husband is a mechanic. We have no kids.
Number 18: I live in Brooklyn and manage a commercial retail property. My husband is a vet and served, tweens

What word have I used incorrectly? And I am jealous I think polysci would’ve been fun. If you were a math major I would’ve been especially jealous

I’ll be at Cooked Con Saturday & would love to catch up with folks here.

As a kid, I was raised to think that Regan was some sort of God. I grew up and started questioning everything. Found a polysci major and was schooled on the truth!

Going to be some fascinaitng polysci papers in the next decade

Polysci students will be studying the Vivek campaign for decades. 😏

Why did that Bret Kavenaugh voter, ender of women's rights, trump zombie Susan Collins fight against the tariffs before this?

PLEASE don't fall for this ME

Get rid of the betrayer of women and children. Families have LESS freedom and control of their lives because of that trumper

73% of cash dollars going to rizzless polysci nerds who lost their own elections because they had policy platforms everyone hated and the public presence of a dead fish

I wrote this research paper in college for a PolySci class about the stadium fight (submitted to Public Policy Mag by my prof, humble brag) where I concluded the easiest way to get this across the finish line was “simply win”. This is a much deeper rooted baseball state than people realize

I'd like to see more outreach and cross-departmental cooperation about the practical applications of math in everyday life. Mathematicians see math everywhere; we should strive to share that perspective.

Election night is ten days away: get your math (and polysci, history, etc.) on, professor.

Polysci question: Is there an approval low water mark below which a President will generally not go, no matter how bad they are?

Asking because the level of support that he still has seems stunning to me, like how can 1 in 4 to 1 in 3 people actually support this?

If any of my mid-60s polysci professors had predicted this would happen to the USA in 60 years, I would have thought they were tripping on acid. WTAF!
I posted a few days ago about American draftees that may be put on the Russian front line in the assault on Ukraine.

Now that Trump is forming a triparty alliance militarily with China & Russia, doesn't sound so absurd anymore, does it?

Young Americans, your life is on the line. The coming draft.

Our Constitution doesn’t actually mention atheism at all. The rights of our ilk were held to be implicit by the Warren Supreme Court. AES was nice to bring this up but incorrect. There, I just used my college PolySci education!

Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I don't see a world where R's hold TX, ME and OH but D's win KS, SC and/or IA. And I worry the table doesn't reflect how much R's are putting into individual states. Glad the PolySci lit disagrees with Elvis Costello: "money talks, and it's persuasive".

I’ve spent two decades in school. Socialism only appeared in history and a few polysci courses. It’s nonsense what these idiots think. If they were willing to actually open a book or go to school... In the words of John Cleese, you can’t hold an opinion for something you know nothing about.

Likely hired the same idiotic establishment Campaign Advisors with PolySci Degrees and Aaron Soarkin brain rot.
October 12, 2026 at 2:58 PM
@TimWardCam Yeah, see, the world over these terms are extremely relative. I didn't get "neoliberal" when I first heard it either, but it's what a polysci professor will tell you George W. Bush's policies were. And libertarians refer to the theories of the American revolution as "classically […]
