Rhino Pipeliner 5000 is not recommended for ponds. It's specialized for trenchless pipe repair, hence its rigidity and 3 second gel time. Other polyureas/polyurethanes are far more stretchable and good for continuous immersion.

Baffled that Rhino itself didn't step in, maybe they did

Some genius put them on a fireplace. They might melt if anyone lights a real fire.
Polyurethane has low thermal inertia, hence enhanced flammability. In addition to their flammability, polyurethanes form carbon monoxide, hydrogen cyanide and other toxic products on decomposition and combustion.

Stretchy jeans might be recyclable using enzymes. Our work is showing some promise. Led by Silvia Anselmi, Jack Jeffries and Helen Hailes we show that enzymes can biodegrade spandex in lab conditions. Full paper here: share.google/gdpM87tlnZsj...

The enzymatic molecular recycling of plastics is of increasing interest, where polymers are converted into monomers for reuse or upcycled into value added chemicals. Polyurethanes are an important cla...

missing oxford comma strikes again! Also, poorly phrased: second clause is indirect reference to less recyclable polymers, eg polyurethanes and polyvinyl chloride; third clause is direct reference to metals (polymers are indeed cheaper and easier to form)

p-Toluenesulfonyl isocyanate will scavenge adventitious moisture from polar compounds like ACN. Trick from the polyurethanes industry where it’s used to strip moisture from fillers. Very inexpensive stuff

Polyurethanes are made from 2 components – a polyol and a diisocyanate. Bio-based polyols are now commonplace, but now Algenesis has set up a pilot plant for its process to make bio-based diisocyanates, leading to fully bio-based and biodegradeable polyurethanes.
