the thing about postfur or weirdfur or w/e that i dont get is that exploring concepts using characters is literally just a thing you can do. half the time its not even that weird its just "what if object was dog". that's just a furry version of object heads. and thats fine but i dont think its. new?

partf wht draws me 2 postfur/NAS art 's fascination w/ how char -> interacts w/ environ wrt how environ flows around / shaped for char e.g. "lighting" / "perspective" / "reflection" such tht feel is evoked of "belong" / "extant" / "constant" -> occupied phys/ment space -> "transfer" -> "information"

I love plantigrade designs and fursuits. ..There's something really personal about them and they feel very contemporary postfur and just so classic at the same time??

LET THIS WORM INTO YOUR BRAIN NOW. YOU WILL REGRET IT, BUT YOU DESERVE IT
(all slurs are reclaimed)

#weirdfur #postfur
Image of a worm-esque creature thats half grub as well. One image of the worm is in a TV with static, with an arrow pointing to them that says "DESERVES TO EAT UNLIKE YOU." To the right, taking up a third of the image, the worm-esque creature is standing with text pointing to it saying "SOURCES OF YOUR DESERVED FATE :3" On the bottom left, there is a text box that reads: "Reasons to accept me in your cerebrum You deserve it, you chud I hate faggots, you are one My young will feast on your retardation You are suicidal because of me Please, I hunger, you jealous fuck"

postfur-tober, day 2 - spray bottle

I've always really liked the idea of a character with a spray bottle for a head, aesthetically. Very appealing objects

#furry #anthro #weirdfur #postfur #art
a slender anthro character floating in front of a background of blue skies and white, fluffy clouds. It is mostly white apart from it's face, which is bright red, and it's thick tail, which gradients to a lighter red. It has small wings at the base of its tail and on either side of its head, which gradient to a creamy yellow-white. It's next has thicker fur than the rest of the body like a mane and this mane has some light red, ringed stripping. It's hands and feet are taloned and avian-like, with four digits; the hands have two thumbs. It also has moth-like antennae and a small disc, golden disk floating over its head like a halo. It's eyes are wide and large with yellow sclerae, white eyelashes, and black pupils. It's expression is very neutral, but looking at the viewer. It is nude, but not in an erotic manner; it's penis is sheathed like a canine and the sheath and testicles are furry. Text next the character in cursive reads "There is no light of Heaven, Only you and me."

One of the original "postfur"s were helicopter and airplanes furries. Truck furries ARE a thing. A BIG THING!!! Id not be shocked at all if there were some genders and sexualities that would exist if it were not for this aweful joke. :(

i saw somebody talk about how postfur might feel like a distancing technique from furry fandom at large, to make one appear special or interesting. i wanted to dismiss it as a myopic read, but now I’m thinking. is it wrong to notice a pattern and try to disrupt it? it means you’re paying attention

Guess I'll finally do a small intro for my pin lol!
I'm new at drawing adult content! I'm self taught as it is so now I'm trying to learn the art of naked people.
I draw mostly furry characters and postfur stuff so be warned there's a lot of weird stuff I draw to explore stuff :3
