#potf2
Wild to think I could have purchased both those Boba Fett from the same Walmart.

(These two were bought online, but my local Wally World did carry PotF2 back in the day where I got my childhood Boba, and eventually did carry the deluxe Black Series Boba.)

Getting one of everything means having stuff that’s not exactly my Star Wars, like Kyle Katarn.

The 2009 version is oddly bigger and beefier than his POTF2 figure. He came in a comic pack and he’s very comic booky, Liefelded out with a big shoulder pad and bigger pecs.
It’s a very weird choice.

Why do I have two of the POTF2 version?
One was a Saga Legends reissue and I’m an easy mark I guess because I bought it again for the collector coin.

I don’t know if it came across in my previous post about the Legacy Collection Build-A-Droid Phase III Dark Trooper how huge it is.
Here it is flanked by the Power of the Force 2 versions, and everything POTF2 was roided up.
The Legacy version is an absolute unit.

Split circles bitches!! Everybody was fussing about the first Boba Fett from the POTF2 line and the hands.

For the curious, the group of 3 Garindans are: 1997 Green Card The Power of the Force/ POTF2, 2006 The Saga Collection, and 2026 The Retro Collection. The group of 2 Garindans: On the left, Stan Solo (fan-made figure) and on the right, The Retro Collection.

It's been fun working on the research for Jay & Dan for Toy Geeks, but the POTF2 stuff has been some of the most fun so far -- the memories of my early days of "adult toy collecting" when I was far less jaded have been strong.

Week 7: taking the way back machine to 1995 for this one. This is my #Kenner #StarWars #POTF2 #DarthVader on #HanSolo card that I found at a local #ToysRUs. He was the only non Han or Luke fig on the pegs that day. Didn't notice it was mis-carded until I got out to the car.

I believe that orange POTF2 got repacks when they went to green.

Need my Toyfare price guide to be sure

Finally cut the extra bits off a POTF2 R5, he looks decent!

Anyone else associate early POTF2 figures with winter/christmas in your mind? I think we all got these toys that Christmas.

Well, now we know where Kenner got their C-3PO reference for POTF2.

I weirdly prefer the extra scruffy looking head from the POTF2 figure tbh. Thankfully I have a half dozen spare Starlord figures that can donate a head and I'll be set.

I can't say more than I have. #1 on the New York Times bestseller list is WAY more mainstream and broad appeal than the toy aisle in WalMart/TRU.

If you disagree, that's fine. I'm steadfast that POTF2 was a result of SW popularity, not the cause.

Looks just like it. But then, I suppose it would.

The POTF2 was such a glow up over the original

Is this not just the POTF2 mold?
