That Uhlmann bot ran out of power in the Great South Australian Renewables Caused All the Powelines to Fall Storm. Who can forget?

#BillGates once commented on the overhead wires in #Bangkok. While wrong about them being powelines, he was right that the city was "filled with tangled wires". 9 years later, it still is!

Some more from exploring around different places in Tokyo.
I do recommend holidays with absolutely no plans on some days and just walk around... Most days I'd argue.

So folks, the people in Kent are not happy about underground powelines destroying their precious habitat.
Please spare a thought for the Scottish landscape being blighted with pylons. Sunset song no more 😞🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

No but I just got a reminder of a photo I took around this time a few years ago. Trees and powelines go smash!

I'm easily amused. Watching a helicopter cut laps over town. They're checking powelines, but according to some it's a huge conspiracy to create another wind or solar farm...

Yes, it was "just" the 4 hours. But for Iceland that's forever. Our powelines are buried and we don't have the transformers on every street corner so we're not used to the interruptions we hear of in the US.

An excellent point to bring up!! Some of my favorite native species are found along occasionally cut powelines and by roadside and almost nowhere else now that we don't have much fire-managed habitat left. You can find ecological gems that need more space to grow along the roadside.

Shit aside (aka I know the World is ending as we know it) I saw Aurora Borealis with my own eyes yesterday evening for the first time & it was a magical moment, also frustrating because my tripod is broken. Luckily my teen brought their phone so these pics are theirs not mine!) in west Sweden! 🥳
