Yes, most of the US needs to start burying powerlines, and we need to go back to proper public utilities for a lot of reasons, but incredibly robust, hand-built transformers is not one.

Good local politics here in Appalachia:
- local commission running scared of backlash
- data centers canceled
- powerline extensions for data centers on hold
- commission looking into ways to stop the powerlines
- water bottle plant put on hold (acknowledging the corruption that approved it)

Deputies are investigating a crash on Saint Joe Avenue near Meier Road. There are no injuries. However powerlines are down. Saint Joe Avenue will be closed temporarily while the scene is cleared. Avoid this area if possible.

Excellent sunset 🥰
