I don’t think I played more than 10 hours of the main game but monkey target was my favorite. Hitting that little yellow buoy with the glue powerup was great

fun fact that requires some context: due to an all-in-one style type thing i'm going for, there will be 4 styles that can be powered into like with smb2 mushroom, and a voxel pipe that allows access to 4 more 3d styles, and a superball-type powerup that allows access to the final 8 styles. one of

the full power item normally spawns at the end of stage 8 on no miss pace, but this run, my deaths in stage 6 and 7 advanced the powerup sequence just enough to make it spawn at the very beginning of the stage. on my last life

I think, while there are definitely more noticeable errors all around despite my new strats, the biggest one is that I break BOTH GEMS when going for the second powerup, it definitely would've been a better endgame with a better score if i only broke one and used the other for a homing shot

The horseboy is the actual first boss. Plus if you defeat it you get an actual strength powerup. And if you investigate the area nearby there's also XXX. Ganba.
