Watched Parosh Pathar (The Philosopher's Stone) for Jan's pre60weekend.

Satyajit Ray's 3rd movie, it's very funny, specially with topic. Not as deep as his other movies (the topic doesn't need it to be) + some great acting!

Didn't fall head over heels for PATHER PANCHALI like I had hoped, but I still think it's a really good movie. Naively creative camerawork, brilliant score, and a poetic and cyclical structure; a sometimes meandering series of moments in a family that ended up breaking my heart. #pre60Weekend
