A man brought his PREGNANT wife to the hospital, he said she had not been able to TALK or WALK for 2 days, and just kept staring blankly into space. He had been bathing & feeding her. We asked him a series of questions and he said when he left for work, she was absolutely fine, only to return and meet her like this. We checked her blood pressure, it was normal (110/75mmhg) Her Neurological reflexes were normal too. What could be going on? We had written for her to be admitted, and posted a series of tests that needed to be done, before I realized I personally hadn't even spoken to our patient. Me: Hello Madam how are you today? Patient: *Looks and gives me side eyes.* Ahah... My suspicions began clearing up. Me: Sir, did you fight with madam before leaving for work that day? Husband: Looking confused.. no we didn't have any argument. Madam: Didn't I ask you to buy Massa (Local meal) for me when you were coming back from work? All you care about is work and not me or the baby. I'm tired of this pregnancy. And just like that, right before our eyes, our PATIENT stood up, and walked out on us angrily to her husband's parked car. The hormones during Pregnancy are not anybody's mate. Proceed with CAUTION. CASE CLOSED. drbelswellness 4d This felt like I was watching a movie to be honest. Pregnancy is no joke. Share to your Husband to let him know that you are still learning work where others are. We advised her husband to see a Mental health expert and rule out Prenatal Depression.
