More strikes in Iran right before people vote tomorrow?

That oughta help oil prices.

MUST-WATCH: "Until they drive prices UP... Americans aren't complaining right now that prices are too LOW."

@AbdulElSayed masterfully schools Bari Weiss' CBS News(max) 60 minutes host @Douthat60 on the problem with living in corporatism, not capitalism - where monopolies & oligopolies reign supreme

If you think this was just all about gas prices, you aren’t very bright.

You know what would really distract Americans from high gas prices? Lower gas prices.

Carrot prices will go up after this. Call that inside-her trading

He didn’t “let” gas prices get this high; he caused gas prices to get this high.
November 4, 2026 at 12:20 AM
Oh people want *lower* prices and *fewer* wars?
November 4, 2026 at 1:45 AM
Moral of today's story: No president will ever let gas prices get this high ever again lmao

Halloween candy prices have jumped over 15% from last year.

Hershey’s alone saw its profits soar by 50%, after raising prices due to Trump’s tariffs. The chocolate giant then pocketed a $9 million tariff refund instead of passing the savings back to customers.

Spooky.

That voters are angrier about government corruption than gas prices shows that Americans are more moral, informed, and aware than they are often given credit for.

Trump enjoyed his lavish Halloween party as prices
November 3, 2026 at 12:35 AM
I think we have to assume given how unconcerned with getting oil prices down before the election that Trump must be somehow profiting significantly from these elevated prices and is OK with it all.

Trump: "I've done a great job. Prices are coming way down."

No, the high prices are paid out as dividends to shareholders. Because of the imperative to produce endless profits and growth for shareholders the prices will never come down unless regulated.

Gas prices are set to be the highest for any Election Day in U.S. history, as the issue weighs heavily on voters’ minds.

The average gas price as of Monday is $4.17, according to AAA. That is roughly 37 cents higher than prices heading into the 2022 midterm, which held the previous record.

GOP wins big in 2024 on inflation and gas prices: woke is dead! America loves maga!

Dems win big in 2026 on inflation and gas prices: easy there nerds, don’t think this means anyone likes you
There's a difference between a blowout and a mandate. Confusing the two could tempt Democrats to overread the results and forget the serious credibility problem they still face heading into 2028.
Democrats could learn wrong message from a blowout victory
A big Election Night could mask the party's larger image problem.
