A full shot of Edinburgh Castle atop Castle Rock as viewed from Princes Street Gardens on a cloudy day. In the lower portion of the frame, framing the castle, are trees, bushes, and greenery in their autumnal colors. To the left, a small evergreen tree is partially shown; to the right are the autumn-colored leaves. In the center is the Ross Fountain with water flowing from it; the fountain has an aqua tint. The castle is made of tan stone blocks. Above, the sky is cloudy with some turquoise poking through.
