Did Jesus really have a secret bloodline... or was it just the greatest con job of the 20th century? 🍷📜 If you’ve read The Da Vinci Code or The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail, you know the story: A mysterious secret society called the Priory of Sion has been protecting the descendants of Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene for centuries. It sounds incredible. It sounds world-changing. There’s just one problem: It was all made up by a French guy in the 1960s. In this episode, we travel to the spooky village of Rennes-le-Château to investigate the mystery that fooled the world. We expose the mastermind behind the curtain, Pierre Plantard, an eccentric antisemitic draftsman who forged documents, planted fake parchments, and hacked history to create a royal lineage for himself. We break down exactly how the "Great Parchment" codes were faked using the "Knight's Tour" puzzle, why the Merovingian Dynasty has nothing to do with the Bible, and how this elaborate hoax spiraled out of control to become a global phenomenon. We’re separating the history from the Hollywood hype: The Hoax: How Plantard planted fake files in the Paris National Library. The Theology: Why scholars and the Gospel of Philip don't actually support the "Married Jesus" theory. The Legacy: How a local French scam birthed the Dan Brown empire. Buckle up for a story of forgery, codes, and the billionaire priest who started it all. 🎧 Press PLAY to debunk the myth and discover the real secret of the Holy Grail!
