Single pencil portrait sketch from a reference image by @yu_zeren_ I was drawn to this face because it shows a twinkle of merriment and also a somberness. A beautiful photograph and he was inspiring to draw #portraitsketch #graphiteportrait #prismacolorcolerase @royaltalensna sketchbook

I am pushing myself a bit and starting to work bigger. All of my sketchebooks from the past 6 months have been 5x8 or 7.5x5. My new book is Talens 8.5x11 from @artcreaations. I loved the way the #prismacolorcolerase moved over this paper. I will test this with some goauche next.
