The Procane Chronicle by Ross Thomas (writing as Oliver Bleeck)

I love Ross Thomas. This one was breezy a.f. but no less enjoyable for that. There's a reference to the Watergate in a copyright 1971 book, which is fun. And a half-dozen tossed-off asides nobody else would think to make.

This is interesting. RT @proCanes: ESPN says #proCane #Ravens LB Ray Lewis is most valuable pick of this era

Bronson as former big city columnist turned frustrated novelist & professional go between in ‘St Ives’ from a Ross Thomas book written under his Oliver Bleeck pen name. Great cast, fantastic 70s down at heels LA settings & Lalo Schifrin score. Love Thomas, need to sample the Bleeck books
