Because there's no money to do a proper rebuild all at once, it will be imperative to be proactive when CTA redesigns the Forest Park Branch rebuild to accommodate actual service enhancements, rather than just rebuilding everything in-kind with a handful of elevator shafts dropped in.

Love how ‘proactive’ means being a visual deterrent and not doing paperwork.
I always thought being ‘proactive’ meant figuring out solutions to problems before the problems arose. Like, being able to afford stuff so’s you don’t have to steal to live.
