ah see I actually think we should probably strive away from this instinct in many cases. like it's fun, but I think in many situations, esp tabletop, it creates very passive and reactive play. open-ended, non-specific tools tend to encourage proactivity and creativity more, in my experience

white mage for sure. pure healer > shield healer to learn because the latter rewards more proactivity and that's frustrating when you don't know what's happening until it happens. ast is the other pure healer but it's got a whole separate buff gimmick that is a lot to juggle

What gets me is it was obvious from the start that the proponents of the “fast & dirty MODA deal” felt that Dundon would give them credit for their proactivity & reflect their good will back.
A simple Google search of his previous business dealings shows how absolutely foolish that strategy was.

my problem with this sort of 'proactivity' in models is it conflicts pretty hard with workflows that involve creating a plan first, and that trips the models up constantly as a result

"Vibe-coding" creates a dangerous illusion of expertise. When technical execution becomes effortless, the risk of verification debt spikes. True product craft now lies in closing the proactivity gap and auditing the systems that AI generates.
