Also: the first (x) months of any new job is the probational period. It is there for both you and the employer to determine if this is the right thing for both of you.
If you get a better offer during that period, then you tell the current employer that it's not working and take the other offer.

I find it strange they fired all the probational fed workers. They aren't the problem. If something is wrong with their department, it should be the heads of all those departments that need to be replaced so each department starts working more efficiently. Hello they get paid way more!?

Maybe at the gate (every iota of money in is what they want, after all). The visitors center? Overworked and under staffed. And you can bet that there won’t be ANY guided programs (most interpreters I knew were probational or seasonal).
